The banner at the top of the site replaces the default Connections banner, and was created by us. To the right is a photo we took of a bowl of rice, symbolising humanity’s main priority. The pensive manga girl to the left is taken from the computer game Magna Carta. (It is ©Softmax. We stole it, and will remove it if the Softmax people complain.) She represents youthful vitality as well as philosophical reflection.
